Explore the basics of clay. We’ll cover the proper use of studio tools and materials. Learn about slab construction, coil building and combined techniques.

  • No class 5/26 + 6/2 for dry time.
  • Wet work must be dropped off by 5/21 in order to be fired for an onsite glaze day on 6/9.
  • This class does not meet on 5/26 or 6/2 and meets onsite on 6/9 to glaze.
  • This class comes with a full bag of clay which can be picked up at our FRONT entrance. This class includes bisque firing for objects made during class, and the last class is a glaze day that is ONSITE in a safe and socially distance setting.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

Dan Kaczka is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in art education. As a professionally licensed art teacher, Dan has an interdisciplinary knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and a broad understanding of various art media including over two decades of experience creating ceramic artworks.
