Private lesson: Clay with Claire McCarty

  • Student will fire work through community firing process (fees not included in private lesson price).

McCarty, Claire

Claire McCarty is a working artist and professional arts educator. She earned her undergraduate degree from VCUarts program (Art Education and Craft/Material Studies) and her master's degree from Vermont College of Fine Arts (Art and Design Education). She now teaches at the Visual Arts Center and St. Catherine's School, specializing in ceramics and film photography. Claire enjoys teaching, working with, and learning from students and peers and appreciates that everyone offers a different perspective and tests the possibilities of what art can be.
