Learn techniques to make glass flow into new and exciting designs. This multi week class will allow us to commit our kiln firings to high-fire flows such as pot melts, screen melts and flow bars. You'll learn to create more intricate patterns and discover how the higher temperatures make the glass liquid enough to flow, often making the pieces look more like furnace-made glass. One way to prepare for this workshop is to make simple pattern bars in advance which will then be arranged in a flow box.

  • Students will use glass in class and then pay for what they use at the end.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

Students must follow social distancing protocols and wear masks at all times. For more info visit visarts.org. This is an On-site course. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program: if interested please visit visarts.org.
