Get both hands on the wheel! Receive 75 minutes of hands-on training on the potter's wheel from one of VisArts' talented clay instructors. Select one of your clay creations to fire, then return to VisArts during the next Second Friday session to retrieve your completed work of art.

  • Ages 12+ are welcomed, if accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

    Each person participating must register separately for the class. Be sure to sign up ASAP to guarantee your spot and make sure it runs. Some seats may be available the night of, but it is recommended that you sign up early to ensure the class runs. We will confirm or cancel classes by 5pm the Thursday before.

    We do not contact waitlist participants for 2nd Fridays classes; please do not join a waitlist.

Kaczka, Dan

Dan Kaczka is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in art education. As a professionally licensed art teacher, Dan has an interdisciplinary knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and a broad understanding of various art media including over two decades of experience creating ceramic artworks.
