Learn about the history of paper quilling, or quilling filigree, from the 18th century and how the art form has evolved. In this class, students will use quilling tools and techniques to manipulate paper. Explore the possibilities of making art with paper by learning quilling techniques to create a mandala. We will explore the artistic and cultural significance of the mandala as well.

  • Having parchment paper on hand to cover the surface will ensure your work does not stick to the workspace.
