Students will learn several types of basic animation in Procreate for the iPad. This is a more specific look at the animation abilities of this program. The basics of drawing are expected as a prerequisite. We will learn simple boil animation gifs, how to animate motion, and finally create a looping .gif.

  • This class is for those who already have an iPad. Students must have their own iPad, apple pencil, and download the most recent version of the Procreate app. This is not a class that will teach basics of drawing, but rather is a technical class for learning to animate on the app itself.

This is an ONSITE course. All onsite students are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Students are expected to adhere to our COVID-19 policies. Onsite courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. For more info please visit visarts.org.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
