Create your very own fabric doll complete with an outfit from start to finish. Measuring about 14" in height, they make a perfect keepsake for yourself or a gift for someone else. We will be using a sewing machine, hand stitching, and painting in this class. Must be familiar with a sewing machine but not a pro.

    This is an ONSITE course. All onsite students are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Students are expected to adhere to our COVID-19 policies. Onsite courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. For more info please visit visarts.org.

Buster, Unicia

Award-winning artist, Unicia Buster received her bachelor of fine arts degree from Cornell University and her master of arts degree from George Mason University. Currently she is the project coordinator for InLight, an outdoor art installation through 1708 Gallery in Richmond. She was a recipient of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts artist fellowship and she has been featured in various media outlets.
