Whether you’re looking to publish fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, this class will kick your journal submissions into gear. Over the course of a weekend, you’ll write, share work with peers, and submit that work to five different journals. In the process, you’ll create an author bio and cover letter you can customize and reuse for years to come. Get ready to feel productive!

Steiner, Samantha

Samantha Steiner is a writer and visual artist interested in the relationships between text and images. A winner of Best Microfiction 2021, she has received fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation, the Saltonstall Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University and an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. She is currently a Ph.D. student in English at the University of Rochester.
