Aida Lizalde is a multi-media artist and Mexican Immigrant that has strong ties to the California Central Valley and Bay-Area-Delta Regions. She is currently completing a Master in Fine Arts in Sculpture and Extended Media at Virginia Commonwealth University. She graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts and a Minor in Art History. Her work has been exhibited throughout California at institutions like the CCA Galleries, Chandra Cerrito Contemporary, Southern Exposure, South of Market Art Center, the Torrance Museum as well as New York’s School of Visual Arts and Mexico City’s Galeria 54.
