ONSITE: Blacksmithing for the Kitchen and Bath (Only offered once a year!)
Adult Intensive | This class is completed
Develop your blacksmithing skills and make beautiful and functional items for use in the kitchen or bathroom. Choose from several possible projects including bath tissue or paper towel holders, towel bars, towel ring hangers, cup hooks or small pot racks.
- This class was originally scheduled for 4/15-16, but is now scheduled to meet 4/29-30.
Students should dress in natural fiber clothing they don't mind getting dirty, and wear work shoes or boots. Eye and hearing protection will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Bring drinking water!
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. For more info visit visarts.org. Jerry Veneziano
Jerry Veneziano has been a blacksmith for most of his adult life. He began his career doing historic reproductions as one of the smiths at Jamestown Settlement in Williamsburg, VA. Today, he produces contemporary and sculptural ironwork that has been featured in galleries and museums along the East Coast.
