Explore screenprinting, a process that allows artists to create hand-printed multiples of the same image. Translate your graphic design, photography, or drawings into vibrant, layered compositions. Learn a variety of ways to create screens that can be used to print onto fabric, paper or wood.

  • You will need to provide any specialty paper or tshirts/totebags for individual projects; basic paper and other materials and equipment are provided.

    This class does not meet on 7/4.

    Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

    This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. For more info visit visarts.org. Robertson, Travis

Raised on a tomato farm in Hanover county, Travis Robertson honed his squeegee skills in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley at the art department of James Madison University. From 2003-2007 he served as the assistant editor of The Drama, a quarterly arts magazine for contemporary art, design, and illustration. Today, he is the art director for Spacebomb Records, and sole proprietor of Archaic Mess, a modest printshop located in the Northside of Richmond, VA.
