This training teaches child care educators the essential Developmentally Appropriate Practices (known as DAP), so that they can use this child development knowledge to create a program that is suitable for the age and stage of development for every child in their group. It covers the 5 essential of DAPs which are age appropriateness, individual appropriateness, child-guided & teacher-guided experiences, cultural & social responsiveness, and play.
