It's a fishing frenzy! Come to MacArthur Park's beautiful pond and learn from the fishing experts with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission how to safely and expertly fish in our beautiful waters. Attendance to the morning's Intro to Fishing class is not required, but you'll certainly reap the benefits of a full day of fishing knowledge and practice! Bring friends and the whole family and come experience the natural beauty of the great outdoors.

Participants must bring own rod, reel, and tackle.

Class is outdoors, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES.

Per state law, participants must have a fishing license OR be under the age of 16. If under 16 years of age, participant must be accompanied by a guardian.

The class is free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.

  • Ages Requirement: Ages 16 & up. All participants between the ages of 5-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
