FREE Nature Class: Intro to Fishing

This FREE introductory nature course is for the fisher in all of us! Whether you're interested in taking up fishing or have been fishing for decades, come learn from the experts from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission on best successful fishing practices and techniques, understanding fish habitats and biology, and even practice your marksmanship. Bring the whole family to the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center to learn more about fishing in the Natural State, and make sure to check out the follow-up afternoon class, Fishing Derby, where you'll get to take all your fishing expertise out to Foster Pond!

The class is free, but availability and materials are limited, so please STILL REGISTER.

  • Ages Requirement: Ages 14 & up. All participants between the ages of 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
