Join us for an inspiring and creative experience at Pine Shores Art Association as we proudly present Rebecca Rhodes, a talented watercolor artist and teacher hailing from Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. This is your opportunity to learn the intricate art of painting detailed, realistic animals in watercolor from a skilled instructor passionate about sharing her knowledge.
Learn how to paint detailed, realistic animals in watercolor from start to finish. We will begin with eyes, noses, and fur, including color mixing, layering, and brush techniques. Then, we will combine these concepts to create an animal painting.
By the end of the workshop, you will have the tools and a step-by-step path to mastering realistic animals in watercolor, as well as a painting that we have created together.

Rebecca Rhodes
Rebecca Rhodes is a talented watercolor artist and teacher based in Pennsylvania, USA. Her mission is to empower, encourage, and equip aspiring artists to create detailed, realistic animal portraits in watercolor, while discovering and developing their own unique styles. Rebecca’s work reflects her passion for detail and realism, and her teaching approach is designed to inspire confidence and creativity in her students.
Before pursuing her career as a full-time artist, Rebecca enjoyed a rewarding tenure as a public-school music educator. Her love for teaching extends seamlessly into the art world, where she specializes in guiding others to paint lifelike portraits of animals and people, with a special focus on pet portraits. A dedicated musician as well, Rebecca is a skilled trumpet player who performs with the Allentown Band and other ensembles throughout Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
