Composition with Botanicals

Workshop | Available

Please Note:  This class meets on Monday, June 16 and Wednesday, June 18.

Participants will learn key composition principles, make sketches exploring composition
structure and create one or more finished paintings or drawings.

The workshop will start with the instructor presenting examples and demonstrations, followed by a discussion of her composing process.

Planning an artwork is an enjoyable exercise full of choices!

We will also cover making decisions about color and pattern and how they play important roles
in strengthening your composition.

This will be a fun, inventive workshop.

Note:  The instructor will bring fresh botanicals, also still life objects and photos as references, both
for her demo and for class members to use, if desired.  Also, participants may bring any fresh
