You’ll learn how to use handwriting—lyrics, quotes, stories, or your own thoughts—to design detailed drawings and expressive images. Discover how to shade, shape, and add depth using only text, creating artwork that’s as meaningful as it is visually striking. No art skills needed—just your voice, your style, and your creativity.
- ** Please bring in some images of what you would like to incorporate into your piece of art, whether it's a self portrait, image of an animal, or someone famous. You can incorporate many images, so feel free to bring in as many as you'd like. Also, please print out the words you would like to include in your art piece.
All other art supplies are included.

Jamie DiRosa is an Art Teacher at the Sisters Academy with over 16 years of experience using art as a powerful tool for education and healing. She received a Bachelor's degree from Mount St. Mary's University and holds certifications in K–12 Art Education and Art Therapy in the State of New Jersey.
Deeply passionate about helping others, Jamie is committed to using creativity to inspire growth, confidence, and connection. Aside from fine arts, Jamie nurtures her creativity by growing flowers and designing floral arrangements for weddings and special events. She loves to immerse herself in other cultures through traveling, and feels a strong connection to the ocean, nature, and animals.
